Myrna Cervetti | 2Rev Coach
Myrna is a human-centered literacy leader with over 10 years of experience leading students and adults. Myrna is committed to and passionate about culturally responsive literacy instruction for all students.
As a proud alumna of the University of Florida (Go Gators!), she earned her B.A. in Special Education and M.A. in Early Childhood Education. She began her career as a 2nd grade teacher in Atlanta, GA. For the first five years of her career, Myrna served as a teacher and literacy coach leading students and teachers to strong academic outcomes within the school system. Presented with the opportunity to impact change across the country, Myrna served as a Managing Director of Literacy Strategy for over 3 years, setting and managing a compelling vision and strategy for K-12 pre-service teachers across all grades and content areas to receive high-quality literacy training that equipped them to lead reading instruction in their classrooms.
Myrna currently gets to combine her passion for literacy instruction, dedication to student growth, and commitment to school partnerships as a literacy specialist working with schools to build Science of Reading knowledge, support foundational skill instruction, and collaborate on student data and instructional needs.
When she’s not nerding out over literacy data or evidence-based instructional strategies, Myrna enjoys traveling, reading, and laughing with her husband and two daughters, enjoying the precious moments of their lives together.
