Lisa is a veteran educator, district administrator or combination thereof for 28 years. When not working with students individually, creating professional development opportunities, meeting with teachers on their competency courses, or integrating career pathway opportunities for our district, she immersed herself in all things competency since joining the Illinois Competency Pilot team in 2016. Since then she has been chosen to represent all educators for the state of Illinois at CIE, a national organization dedicated to scaling performance assessments. Lisa has presented on competency-based learning at local, state, and national conferences. Lisa is thrilled to share her experience with the next generation of teachers as we move to create equity and access for all students together.
