Upon graduating from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Art in Communication, Amanda Figueroa began her education journey at Coney Island Prep Middle School in her hometown of Coney Island, Brooklyn. Amanda spent over 10 years dedicated to her community as an operations team member, an 8th Grade ELA/History teacher, and as Principal. In her post Principal years Amanda has had the privilege of supporting public school districts in Rhode Island and Beloit, Wisconsin as a Director of Instruction & Support. In her current role as Associate Partner with Relay Graduate School of Education, Amanda is sharing all of her learned experiences, acquired knowledge and intense passion for equity to support districts and schools in achieving instructional success for students, teachers and leaders alike.
